PR No. 17 “WORK FROM HOME POLICY” IS BEING INTRODUCED TO FACILITATE THE FEMALE OFFICERS OF MINISTRY OF IT… ANUSHA REHMAN Islamabad

In order to promote and facilitate a more conducive working environment for Female Officers of Ministry of IT, the “Work from Home Policy” has been initiated by Ministry of Information Technology.

Minister for IT & Telecom Mrs. Anusha Rehman has said that “Work from Home Policy” is being introduced to facilitate the Female Officers of the Ministry of Information Technology.

Through this policy initiative, the Female Officers of Ministry of IT have been given an option to chose a one day in a week (as per their convenience), to perform their official duties while staying at their respective homes, Minister further said that “Work from Home Policy” is a unique initiative and she also stressed upon female officers posted at Ministry of Information Technology to use this facility in a responsible manner so that their accessibility, communication and productivity will not suffer at any cost.

Female Officers posted at MOIT have appreciated this policy initiative and thanked the Minister for her special measures for well being of women and girls.

Ministry of IT & Telecom has issued a formal notification in this regard.
