A delegation of NESPAK Pakistan, headed by their MD & President Mr. Amjad A.Khan called on H.E Syed Ibne Abbas, Pakistan High Commissioner to the UK on 26 July 2016, and discussed with him their business expansion strategy in the UK, says a press release received from London here today.
The delegation apprised the High Commissioner of the various projects
which they are currently executing in Pakistan, especially Punjab Saaf
Pani Project and Orange Line Project in Punjab. They also informed about
their desire to enter into joint ventures (JVs), with reputable British
consultancy firms. Such JVs will help in bringing international best
practices in the country coupled with capacity building of Pakistani
professionals to deliver projects of international standard in Pakistan.
As a confidence building measure, NESPAK (pvt) Limited has registered a
subsidiary by the name of NESPAK UK in Britain. Now the British firms
will be in a more comfortable position to enter into business deals with
a firm which is also registered in the UK. NESPAK already has a global
presence.
The High Commissioner assured the delegation all possible support in
their endeavours and asked them to keep the High Commission updated on
their projects through close liaison to work together in future. He also
advised the Commercial Counsellor to facilitate meetings of the
delegations with the relevant British authorities especially with UKTI,
British Council and DFID, among others. NESPAK delegation appreciated
High Commission’s consistent support.
