PR No. 171 CM BALUCHISTAN MEETS ISHAQ DAR Islamabad

The Chief Minister of Baluchistan, Nawab Sanaullah Zehri called on Finance Minister, Senator Mohammad Ishaq Dar, here on Wednesday.

The Finance Minister congratulated the Chief Minister on presenting a balanced and development oriented budget for the Province. He said that the federal government accorded high priority to the economic development of Balochistan and would extend all possible support to the provincial government to achieve that objective.

The Chief Minister apprised that Finance Minister of the efforts of the provincial government to improve governance with a view to accelerate the pace of economic development to bring the province at par with other regions of the country.

The socio-economic situation in Baluchistan as well as progress on various important projects was also discussed during the meeting.

Chief Secretary Baluchistan and senior officials of Ministry of Finance were present on the occasion.
