President Mamnoon Hussain has said that over two million Pakistani diaspora in Saudi Arabia are always ready for defence and security of Harmain Shareefain.

The President said this while talking to the outgoing Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani who called on him at the Aiwan-e-Sadr, Islamabad on Friday.

The President said that Saudi Arabia is an important Muslim country and Pakistan accords great significance to its ties with it adding that every Pakistani citizen possesses love and respect for the people of Saudi Arabia. The President stated that bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia are deep rooted in a common faith and shared values. The President said that the two brotherly countries have always stood by each other in difficult times. He called for further enhancing the volume of bilateral trade between the two countries.

Outgoing Ambassador of Saudi Arabia Abdullah Marzouk Al-Zahrani expressed gratitude for cooperation extended by the Government of Pakistan and the President during his tenure in Pakistan and underscored that he will continue to work for promoting bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia in future as well.
