The High Commissioner of Pakistan in Sri Lanka Maj. Gen. (R) Syed Shakeel Hussain presented Certificates of merit to the students ofPakistan Culture Education & Urdu Language Center, today in Colombo for rendering meritorious service on account of developing, composing and presenting the first ever Pakistan Sri Lanka friendship Anthem.

The premier Anthem praising Pakistan Sri Lanka enduring friendship was launched in Urdu, Sinhala & Tamil languages for the first time in January 2016 in the gracious presence of Hon. Prime Minister of Pakistan Muhammad Nawaz Sharif & Hon. Prime Minister of Sri Lanka Ranil Wickramasinghe in Colombo.

The veteran Sri Lankan broadcaster, media consultant and Chairman Kashmir Study Forum Sri Lanka, Mr. Mohamed Jamaludeen had written and composed the Pakistan Sri Lanka friendship Anthem.
