PR No. 77 PAKISTAN STRONGLY CONDEMNS TERRORIST ATTACK IN FRANCE Islamabad

The Government of Pakistan condemns, in strongest terms, the barbaric and cowardly terrorist attack on men, women and children who were celebrating their National Day in the French city of Nice that resulted in the loss of tens of innocent lives and injuries to scores of others.

The Government and the people of Pakistan extend their heartfelt condolences to the Government and the people of the French Republic on this grave tragedy. Our thoughts and prayers are with the bereaved families and we wish a speedy recovery to the injured. Pakistan stands in solidarity with the French people in this hour of grief.

Pakistan reiterates its condemnation of terrorism in all its forms and manifestations and stands ready to work with the international community to fight it.
