PR No. 62 Minister of State Engr Muhammad Bligh Ur Rehman wrote a letter of appreciation/gratitude to the Federal Minister of Ministry of Finance Mr. Ishaq Dar today. Islamabad

Minister of State welcomed and appreciated the insertion of section 64-AB in the Finance Act 2016. This decision of deductable allowance for education expenses would bring relief to the parents and would promote the cause of education in Pakistan, said the State Minister.

Minister of State proposed that necessary action may be taken to exempt donations and financial contributions to the public sector educational institutes from tax as well. It would not only encourage the financing of education in public sector but would also facilitate the respective governments in achieving their goals of bringing improvements in the field of education, stated the Minister.
