Minister of State for Water and Power , Ch. Abid Sher Ali visited Tarbella Dam today to investigate accident which occurred last night at Tarbela 4th Extension Hydropower Project. Incident happened while placement of concrete which caused collapsing of formwork where eight workers including four Chinese and four Pakistani were present. Rescue operation was carried immediately which lasted till midnight. Two Chinese and two Pakistani workers expired on the spot. Injured were shifted to hospital and are being looked after properly. Two Chinese workers are still in critical condition and have been shifted to Islamabad. The condition of two Pakistanis injured is stable.
