President Mamnoon Hussain and leaders of the Islamic world participating in the 15^thGeneral Assembly Meeting of Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Standing Committee on Science & Technology (COMSTECH) prayed for the speedy recovery and successful operation of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif’s illness.

The President prayed for the good health of Prime Minister Muhammad Nawaz Sharif during his inaugural address at the General Assembly Meeting at which the participants said ‘Ameen’ aloud in unison. Earlier, President Islamic Development Bank (IDB) Dr. Ahmed Mohamed Ali also expressed concern over the Prime Minister’s illness at the beginning of his speech. Several of the General Assembly participants from various Muslim countries, comprising of ministers and senior officials, mentioned the Prime Minister’s illness at different intervals and expressed well wishes for the Premier.
