Mr. Nisar Ahmed Cheema, Accountant General Pakistan Revenues (AGPR), met with Mrs. Raisa Adil, Executive Director General/Principal Information Officer (EDG/PIO), at PID. During the meeting, he apprised her of the progress made regarding the processing of media payments and assured that AGPR is fully committed to extending all possible cooperation for the early and expeditious release of payments to media outlets.
The EDG/PIO appreciated the visit and the continued coordination between PID and AGPR for ensuring smooth and timely processing of media payments.
Mr. Nisar Ahmed Cheema also visited the Subordinate Office (SOC) of the Press Information Department (PID), Islamabad, to review the ongoing process of payments to media outlets and facilitate their expeditious processing.
During the visit, Mr. Nisar Ahmed Cheema appreciated the dedicated efforts of the officers and officials of SOC, PID, for their effective coordination and commitment towards expediting the processing of payments to media outlets in accordance with the directives of the competent authority.
He acknowledged the concerted efforts of the SOC team in ensuring that the payment process is carried out efficiently and within the stipulated timelines. He also appreciated the cooperation and coordination of all concerned officers and officials for facilitating the timely clearance of media payments.
The visit provided an opportunity to review the latest status of the payment process and further strengthen institutional coordination between PID and AGPR for the timely settlement of outstanding media payments.
