Federal Minister for Finance & Revenue Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb has strongly condemned the firing incident at Qureshi Mor, Bypass Road, D.I.Khan which resulted in the martyrdom of two personnel of the Federal Board of Revenue (FBR) Enforcement Squad.
The Minister paid tribute to Arm Guard Rahmatullah and Sepoy Sulaiman, who lost their lives in the line of duty. He also extended his profound condolences to the bereaved families and prayed for the departed souls to rest in eternal peace.
“The tragic incident is a matter of deep grief for the entire FBR fraternity. Our thoughts and prayers are with the families of the martyred officials,” the Minister said.
The Minister directed that all relevant aspects of the incident be pursued in coordination with the concerned authorities and expressed the hope that the perpetrators would be identified and brought to justice.
He reaffirmed the Government’s support for FBR personnel engaged in enforcement duties and acknowledged their continued commitment to carrying out their responsibilities under challenging circumstances.
