High Commissioner Muhammad Saleem attended an interactive session with mostly Ottawa-based engineering professionals and alumni of Pakistan’s Universities of Engineering and Technology (UET) on September 23, 2026. The participants included alumni of UET Lahore, Peshawar and Taxila. Hon. MP Aslam Rana, a UET Lahore alumnus, was the Chief Guest.

Appreciating the immense contribution of Pakistan-origin professionals in Canada in the socio-economic development, High Commissioner exchanged ideas on the potential for enhancing Pakistan-Canada collaboration in the engineering and other hi-tech sectors.
