Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with His Highness Sheikh Sabah Al-Khaled Al-H amad Al-Sabah, Crown Prince of the State of Kuwait, on sidelines of the high-level segment of the 81st Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.
The Prime Minister conveyed warm greetings to the Crown Prince and reaffirmed Pakistan’s strong and brotherly relations with Kuwait. The two leaders reviewed bilateral ties and discussed avenues for further strengthening cooperation in areas of mutual interest.
Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif emphasized the importance Pakistan attaches to its relations with Kuwait and highlighted the potential for enhanced cooperation in trade, investment, energy and human resource development.
The two leaders also exchanged views on regional and international developments and reiterated their shared commitment to promoting peace, stability and prosperity.
