Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, inaugurated the newly constructed Chaudhry Zamurd Hussain Block at Rawalpindi Kachehri today.
Speaking on the occasion, he said that young lawyers will be provided with the necessary facilities to equip them with modern technology and artificial intelligence, enabling them to meet the evolving demands of the legal profession.
The event was attended by President Rawalpindi Bar Association Tariq Mehmood Sajid Awan, Vice President Shazia Hashmi, General Secretary Qamar-ul-Haq Niazi, Joint Secretary Ahsan Manjh, former President Raja Nasir, Shahid Sawati (Advocate High Court), Senior Advocate Supreme Court Malik Israr, Dr. Arshad (Advocate), Tayyab Pakhral (Advocate), Raja Shafiq (Advocate), Nadeem Akhtar Bhatti (Advocate), and a large number of lawyers.
Barrister Danyal said special focus is being placed on strengthening the professional capabilities of young lawyers. He noted that IT centres and other modern facilities will help young lawyers benefit from emerging technologies, including AI, and align their legal services with contemporary requirements.
He said lawyers equipped with modern technology will be able to deliver legal services more efficiently and effectively. The initiative is aimed at aligning the legal community with changing professional demands and promoting digital facilities in the legal sector.
The Parliamentary Secretary said the introduction of a modern bar management system will improve the administrative affairs of the bar and make service delivery for lawyers more efficient.
He commended the Chaudhry Zamurd Hussain Block as a significant addition to the Kachehri's infrastructure, saying it would provide a better working environment for lawyers and litigants alike.
