Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi Makes Surprise Visit to CDA Facilitation Center

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi made a surprise visit to the CDA Facilitation Center and directly inquired about the problems being faced by citizens.

The Interior Minister took strict notice of the presence of agents at the Facilitation Center and ordered strong action against them. He directed that no agent should be seen inside the Facilitation Center.

The Interior Minister also visited the Senior Citizen Counter and directed the authorities to immediately resolve the issues faced by elderly citizens.

Mohsin Naqvi expressed displeasure over the long queues, overcrowding and waiting time at the counters. He directed that citizens visiting the Facilitation Center must be managed and facilitated in the best possible manner.

The Interior Minister ordered the renovation of the building and establishment of new counters, directing that facilities for citizens be significantly improved.

During their interaction with the Interior Minister, citizens complained that the system at the Facilitation Center was still manual and had not been fully digitized. They also pointed out that required documents were not provided on the scheduled date, forcing them to make repeated visits.

Mohsin Naqvi issued on-the-spot directions for the immediate resolution of citizens’ grievances.

The Interior Minister said that better and timely public services must be ensured and citizens should not have to face unnecessary waiting or inconvenience. He directed that the provision of documents on the scheduled date must be ensured.

Mohsin Naqvi further directed that citizens’ issues be resolved promptly and transparently through a digital system and ordered the complete digitization of the Facilitation Center’s operations.

Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi assured the citizens that visible improvement would be ensured within one month.
