Office-Bearers and Lawyers’ Leaders of Various Bar Associations Meet Federal Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar

Office-bearers of various Bar Associations and leaders of the legal fraternity held meetings with Federal Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar. The meetings focused on various issues faced by the legal community, professional matters, matters concerning Bar Associations, and promoting cooperation in the legal sector.

Those who met the Federal Minister included Syed Yousaf Khan, President, High Court Bar Association Rawalpindi; Qasim Mahmood Malik, Secretary General, High Court Bar Association Rawalpindi; Tariq Mahmood Sajid Awan, President, District Bar Association Rawalpindi; Ms. Samina Qureshi, President, Lahore High Court Bar Association, Bahawalpur Bench; Syed Qalb-e-Hassan Shah, Member, Pakistan Bar Council; Rao Sultan Ahmad Khan, Member, Punjab Bar Council; Mehr Muhammad Rafiq Malana, President, District Bar Association Khanewal; Ghulam Mustafa Pahore, General Secretary, District Bar Association Khanewal; and Mehr Afzal Malana, Advocate.

Chaudhry Azam Hussain Hanjra, President, Bar Association Kabirwala; Chaudhry Waseem Tariq Pannu, General Secretary, Bar Association Kabirwala; and Chaudhry Saeed Iqbal Goraya, former President, Tehsil Bar Association Jahanian, also met the Federal Minister.

During the meetings, the lawyers’ representatives apprised the Federal Minister of various issues faced by the legal fraternity, professional matters and matters concerning Bar Associations.

Federal Minister for Law & Justice Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar welcomed the representatives of the Bar Associations and emphasized the importance of addressing the issues faced by the legal community and maintaining effective engagement with Bar Associations.

The Federal Minister said that the legal fraternity plays an important role in ensuring effective delivery of justice and improving the legal system. He said the government was committed to further strengthening engagement with the legal community and Bar Associations and promoting cooperation in the legal sector.

He said continued engagement with Bar Associations and the legal fraternity would help in better understanding issues relating to the legal system and taking effective measures for their resolution.

The meetings concluded with a resolve to further strengthen engagement between the legal community and the Ministry of Law & Justice, promote cooperation on professional matters and advance matters of mutual interest.
