In view of the Hon’ble Chief Justice Mr. Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan’s visit abroad, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi took oath of office as the Acting Chief Justice of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan. Hon’ble Mr. Justice Aamer Farooq administered the oath of office to Hon’ble Mr. Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi at a dignified ceremony attended by the Hon’ble Judges, the Registrar, office-bearers of the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Pakistan Bar Council, as well as officers of the FCCP. Following the oath-taking ceremony, Hon’ble Mr. Justice Syed Hasan Azhar Rizvi assumed the responsibilities of the Acting Chief Justice to ensure continuity in the judicial and administrative functioning of the Court and the uninterrupted dispensation of constitutional justice. The arrangement reflects the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan’s commitment to institutional continuity, constitutional governance, the rule of law, and the effective and uninterrupted administration of constitutional justice.
