President Asif Ali Zardari has extended felicitations to the President of the Republic of Korea (ROK), Lee Jae Myung, the Government and its people on their National Liberation Day.
In his letter, the President highlighted that Pakistan attaches great importance to its friendly relations with the ROK. He noted that over the decades, bilateral ties have continued to grow, underpinned by mutual trust, close cooperation and constructive engagement at both bilateral and multilateral levels.
President Zardari expressed confidence that the two countries will continue to expand cooperation in areas of mutual interest including political engagement, trade, investment and people-to-people exchanges. He said that he looks forward to working closely with the ROK leadership to further strengthen the bilateral partnership for the mutual benefit of both nations and their people.
