Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, met the Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy, Ms. Natalie A. Baker, at the Ministry of Law, Justice and Human Rights today. The meeting focused on Pakistan-U.S. bilateral relations, matters of mutual interest, and the regional situation.
During the meeting, the U.S. Chargé d'Affaires appreciated Pakistan's positive and constructive role during the Gulf conflict. She commended Pakistan's diplomatic efforts in promoting regional peace and stability and also acknowledged the leadership and contributions of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir and Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif.
On the occasion, Federal Minister for Law, Justice and Human Rights, Senator Azam Nazeer Tarar, reaffirmed that Pakistan will continue to play a positive and constructive role in promoting regional peace, stability and dialogue.
Both sides also reaffirmed their commitment to further strengthening Pakistan-U.S. bilateral cooperation, including collaboration in the field of law, and enhancing engagement in other areas of mutual interest.
