Federal Secretary for National Health Visits Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore

Federal Secretary for National Health Services, Regulations & Coordination, Mr. Muhammad Aslam Ghori, paid a comprehensive visit to Shaikh Zayed Hospital, Lahore, today to review patient care services and ongoing institutional developments.

During his visit, the Secretary inspected the Emergency Department, the under-expansion Paediatric Emergency Unit, the Sehat Sahulat Programme Dialysis Centre, the Intensive Care Unit (ICU), and the Hospital Pharmacy.

He was briefed on the expansion of paediatric emergency services, the availability of essential medicines, and the quality of healthcare services being provided to patients. The visit also included an assessment of ongoing efforts to enhance patient care and strengthen hospital services.

Mr. Ghori personally interacted with patients and their attendants in different wards to obtain firsthand feedback regarding the quality of treatment and healthcare facilities. Patients expressed their satisfaction with the standard of medical care, the professionalism and compassionate attitude of the healthcare staff, and the services being provided at the hospital.

The Federal Secretary particularly appreciated that both general and private patients receive equitable, high-quality healthcare services, reflecting the hospital's commitment to fairness and excellence in patient care.

He commended the efforts of the hospital administration and healthcare teams and emphasized the importance of sustaining high standards of quality, ensuring timely and effective treatment, and continuously improving patient-centered services.

Shaikh Zayed Hospital remains committed to providing safe, accessible, and high-quality healthcare while continuously enhancing its clinical services, infrastructure, and patient experience in line with the vision of the Government of Pakistan.
