“Pakistan and Bangladesh share deep-rooted cultural bonds” says Pakistan High Commissioner H.E. Mr. Imran Haider

A food festival was organized by Pakistan High Commission, Dhaka today to present the rich and diverse culinary heritage of Pakistan. The High Commissioner of Pakistan to Bangladesh, H.E. Mr. Imran Haider, warmly welcomed the distinguished guests, including members of the diplomatic community, academia, media representatives and the general public who attended the event in very large numbers. The participants expressed interest in Pakistani cuisine & fashion and appreciated the initiative of Pakistan High Commission.

Talking to media representatives on the occasion, the High Commissioner said that the participation of such a large number of people in the event is very encouraging. He emphasized that such people-to-people engagements will continue in future which will further cement the bilateral ties between the two brotherly counties. Renowned Pakistani fashion brands also showcased their products.

Members of diplomatic corps and their families participated in the event. The festival continued throughout the day, providing visitors from all walks of life with an opportunity to experience Pakistan's rich cuisine, vibrant culture and dynamic fashion products in a welcoming environment.
