Pakistan Customs Enforcement Peshawar Achieves Exceptional Growth in Revenue Realization During FY 2025–26

Pakistan Customs Enforcement, Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Peshawar, has achieved a remarkable milestone in revenue realization during the Financial Year 2025–26, reflecting the Federal Board of Revenue's continued emphasis on strengthening enforcement measures, enhancing transparency, and maximizing recovery from confiscated assets.

The Collectorate realized a record Rs. 2.902 billion through the disposal and confiscation of gold, silver, and foreign currency, registering an impressive 537.58% increase over the combined performance of the previous two financial years.

Revenue realized from confiscated gold reached Rs. 2.332 billion, compared to Rs. 139.391 million in FY 2024–25 and Rs. 81.689 million in FY 2023–24, representing an extraordinary 955.01% increase.

During FY 2025–26, the Collectorate also generated Rs. 89.13 million through the disposal of confiscated silver, while revenue realized from confiscated foreign currency increased significantly to Rs. 479.975 million, compared to Rs. 234 million in the preceding financial year, reflecting a 105.12% increase.

Similarly, revenue realized through public auction of confiscated goods witnessed substantial growth. During FY 2025–26, the Collectorate generated Rs. 1.954 billion through auctions, compared to Rs. 714.44 million in FY 2024–25 and Rs. 418.28 million in FY 2023–24, registering a 72.51% increase over the previous years.

These outstanding results underscore the commitment of Pakistan Customs towards effective enforcement, robust anti-smuggling operations, and efficient disposal of confiscated goods in accordance with the law. The significant increase in revenue reflects the professionalism, dedication, and operational excellence of the officers and officials of the Collectorate of Customs Enforcement, Peshawar.

The Federal Board of Revenue remains committed to further strengthening enforcement mechanisms, combating smuggling, safeguarding the national economy, and ensuring optimal realization of government revenue through transparent and efficient customs operations.
