A Full Court Meeting of the Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan was held today under the chairmanship of Hon'ble Chief Justice Mr. Justice Amin-ud-Din Khan. The meeting was attended by all Hon'ble Judges of the Court along with the Registrar, Federal Constitutional Court of Pakistan.
The meeting undertook a comprehensive review of the Court's institutional performance and progress achieved during its first six months of operation. Various administrative, judicial, and operational matters were discussed ahead of the commencement of the Court's summer vacation.
The Hon'ble Chief Justice appreciated the dedication and professionalism demonstrated by the officers and staff of the Court in ensuring the efficient functioning of this newly established constitutional institution. The Court expressed satisfaction over the procedural efficiency achieved during the initial phase of its operations and acknowledged the collective efforts that have contributed to strengthening public confidence in the constitutional justice system.
During the meeting, special emphasis was placed on the continued modernization of the Court's administrative and judicial processes. The Hon'ble Chief Justice highlighted the importance of aligning the Federal Constitutional Court with internationally recognized best practices adopted by leading constitutional and apex courts around the world. The honorable judges also discussed the integration of emerging technologies, including Artificial Intelligence (AI), to enhance institutional efficiency, knowledge management, legal research, case administration, and public service delivery. Recognizing that institutional growth is intrinsically linked to human resource development, the meeting also considered measures for the continued professional training and capacity-building of officers and staff.
