MEETINGS OF THE JUDICIAL COMMISSION OF PAKISTAN

Islamabad: June 11, 2026

Today, on 11th June, 2026, meeting of the Judicial Commission of Pakistan was held in the Conference Room of the Supreme Court Building, Islamabad at 2:00 pm. The following agenda items were taken up in the meeting;

i. Interviews of Judges Appointment Rules

ii. Judicial Commission of Pakistan (Judicial Performance Evaluation of High Court Judges) Rules, 2026.

iii. Amendment in the Judicial Commission of Pakistan (Appointment of Judges) Rules, 2024

iv. Criterion for Nominating Judges of Constitutional Benches as referred back by the Committee for decision of the Commission.

It is decided that all the items shall be placed before the meeting of Judicial Commission of Pakistan which shall include the Commissions of all High Courts to be held in the next week.
