Islamabad: June 10, 2026

Federal Minister for Kashmir Affairs, Gilgit-Baltistan and SAFRON, Engineer Amir Muqam, has expressed deep sorrow and grief over the tragic crash of the Pakistan Army's MI-17 helicopter near Muzaffarabad.

Paying rich tribute to the officers and soldiers martyred in the accident, he praised their services to the nation.

The Federal Minister said that the sacrifices of the martyrs will always be remembered by the nation.

He expressed heartfelt condolences and sympathy to the bereaved families and prayed for their patience and strength in this difficult time.

Engineer Amir Muqam prayed that Allah Almighty may grant the martyrs the highest place in His mercy and give their families the courage to bear this great loss.
