Pakistan’s Ambassador to Romania, Mr. Ilyas Mehmood Nizami, formally presented his credentials as concurrently accredited Ambassador to the Republic of Moldova, today. He handed his Letter of Credence to President of Republic of Moldova, H.E. Ms. Maia Sandu, in a dignified ceremony held, at the Presidential Palace in Chisinau.
Following the presentation of credentials, Ambassador Nizami had an audience with the Honourable President.
The Ambassador conveyed the warm greetings to the President of Republic of Moldova on behalf of Pakistan’s leadership. He thanked the Honourable President for the courtesies extended during his visit to Chisinau. He expressed Pakistan’s desire to expand bilateral ties with the Republic of Moldova. He also affirmed his commitment to contribute to the promotion of mutually-beneficial cooperation between the two countries.
The ceremony underscored the goodwill in Pakistan-Moldova relations. It marked a meaningful step in the diplomatic engagement between the two countries.
