President Asif Ali Zardari has extended felicitations to King Abdullah II ibn Al Hussein of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan and the brotherly people of Jordan on their Independence Day.
In a message, conveyed on behalf of the Government and the people of Pakistan, the President noted that Pakistan and Jordan enjoy cordial and long-standing relations, founded on mutual respect, trust and shared values. Both countries maintain a close understanding and convergence of views on a wide range of regional and international issues. The President expressed confidence that these fraternal ties will continue to grow even stronger in the years ahead.
President Zardari recalled His Majesty’s visit to Pakistan in November 2025, emphasising that it provided a valuable impetus to bilateral cooperation and further reinforced the bonds of friendship between the two nations.
The President further conveyed his sincere wishes for the continued peace, progress and prosperity of the people of Jordan.
