Chairman Senate Visits Dar Ali bin Abi Talib Orphanage and School, Appreciates Welfare and Educational Services

Chairman Senate Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani visited the Dar Ali bin Abi Talib Orphanage and School in Islamabad, where he toured academic and residential facilities, classrooms, vocational training centers, and recreational areas. He interacted with students and staff and appreciated the quality of education, care, and training being provided to orphaned children. The Chairman Senate commended the efforts of the management and teaching staff in fostering the development and well-being of the children.

Speaking on the occasion, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani emphasized that the welfare and education of orphaned and vulnerable children are a shared responsibility. He highlighted the importance of quality education, skills development, and a supportive environment to help children achieve their potential. During a briefing, he was informed about the institution’s educational and welfare programs and appreciated the humanitarian contributions of the Muslim World League in supporting such initiatives.

Mr. Saad Alharthi, Regional Director of the International Islamic Relief Organization, was also present and thanked the Chairman Senate for his visit. During their interaction, the Chairman Senate spoke about the rich history and cultural heritage of Multan. Concluding the visit, Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani reaffirmed his support for initiatives aimed at improving educational opportunities and welfare services for children from vulnerable segments of society.
