In his special message on the occasion of International Workers' Day, Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan paid a glowing tribute to millions of laborers across the country and the world, stating that the working class is the backbone of human progress and national prosperity. He remarked that the tireless hard work and dedication of laborers, from the fields to construction sites, are the guarantors of a strong and prosperous Pakistan. Abdul Aleem Khan emphasized that our faith regards labor as a sacred and noble duty. According to Islamic teachings, paying a worker their wages "before their sweat dries" is our fundamental responsibility. Federal Minister Abdul Aleem Khan further stated that the Government prioritizes the dignity, safety and provision of fair wages for workers. He reaffirmed the commitment to continue taking every possible measure to protect the rights and well-being of the labor force.
Specifically praising those associated with the communications and infrastructure sectors, Abdul Aleem Khan noted that these teams play a key role in laying the foundations of a modern Pakistan. He paid a special tribute to the workers employed on Highways and other vital projects. Federal Minister for Communications Abdul Aleem Khan concluded by saying that all laborers building the future are our national heroes and today we salute their services. He also extended his heartfelt congratulations to all workers on International Workers' Day.
