Federal Minister for Finance and Revenue, Senator Muhammad Aurangzeb, arrived in Boston earlier today to participate in the Pakistan Conference at Harvard University.
Upon arrival, the Finance Minister was received by Pakistan’s Ambassador to the United States, H.E. Mr. Rizwan Saeed Sheikh and senior officials of the Pakistan Embassy.
The Finance Minister began his engagements with an early morning meeting with the Harvard Growth Lab team, including Professor Ricardo Hausmann, Director; Mr. Douglas Barrios, Director of Policy Research; and Mr. Taimur Shah, Fellow. Discussions focused on Pakistan’s economic outlook, reform priorities, and avenues for sustainable growth.
Later in the day, the Finance Minister will attend the Pakistan Conference at Harvard University, where he will engage with leading academics, policymakers, and members of the Pakistani diaspora, and share Pakistan’s economic outlook, reform trajectory, and growth prospects.
