Islamabad: April 07, 2026

A high-level delegation from the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Türkiye, led by its Hon’ble President Mr. Kadir Özkaya, along with distinguished Judges and senior officials, visited the Public Facilitation Centre at the Supreme Court of Pakistan during their official visit as State Guests.

During the visit, a randomly selected litigant, Mr. Ghulam Nabi from Quetta, presented a bouquet to the Hon’ble President—an evocative gesture reflecting the Court’s litigant-centric ethos and its deepening engagement with the public.

Mr. Altaf ur Rehman, Institution Officer, received the delegation which was followed by a comprehensive briefing by Ms. Shumaila Naz, Coordinator of the Public Facilitation Center, articulating the vision of the Hon’ble Chief Justice of Pakistan in establishing a streamlined one-window facilitation model designed to deliver efficient, accessible, and citizen-centric services.

The delegation was apprised of key reform measures, including the introduction of a digitally integrated dashboard and e-reporting portal, digital and e-payment facilities -marking a significant step towards modernization of service delivery - along with the Q-Matic queue management system and upgraded information kiosks designed to enhance ease of access for litigants. On the occasion, the Hon’ble President unveiled a digital plaque to commemorate the visit.

While the MoU provides a framework for sustained institutional collaboration, the visit to the Public Facilitation Centre offered a practical demonstration of the Supreme Court’s ongoing digital transformation efforts, with foundational systems in place to support the progressive expansion of online and technology-enabled judicial services.
