MOU Signing Ceremony at Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training(MoFE&PT)

In a landmark step toward inclusive education, the Ministry of Federal Education and Professional Training (MoFE&PT) hosted a contract signing ceremony to launch the "Provision of Remedial Therapy Services" in all educational institutions under the Federal Directorate of Education (FDE). The partnership with the National Institute of Psychology (NIP)Center of Excellence under Quaid e Azam University is formalized by Prof. Dr. Rubina Hanif(Director NIP) in the presence of Dr. Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui Federal Minister for Education, Nadeem Mahbub Secretary MoFEPT and FDE Officials.This initiative is a direct response to the Dyslexia Bill 2022, focusing on critical interventions for students with learning disabilities. A specialized team of 60 Remedial Therapists and 3 expert coordinators will provide diagnostic testing and evidence-based therapeutic support by integrating professional psychological care and teacher capacity-building, the project will create a sustainable framework to ensure students with diverse learning needs achieve their full potential within the formal school system.
