A meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s Office, chaired by Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan, Chairman of the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme, to discuss the launch of the “Walk Pakistan” initiative. This nationwide campaign aims to engage young people in positive, constructive activities that promote national unity, cultural harmony, and healthy lifestyles.

While some participants attended in person, others participated virtually, ensuring broader engagement. Naveed Sherwani,Sabahat Rafique and Kamran Lashari were appointed to the working group responsible for coordinating the program."
The initiative is designed to celebrate Pakistan’s cultural heritage and regional identities. Cultural events and youth engagement programs will take place in major cities along the route, providing an opportunity to highlight the country’s diversity and strengthen community ties. Furthermore, the initiative will support the local economy by promoting sectors such as hospitality, transportation, tourism, and small businesses.
“Walk Pakistan” will feature participants from all provinces, including women, students, sports figures, and media representatives, ensuring broad participation from across the country.
Participants will register via the Digital Youth Hub platform, which will streamline coordination for the event. The walk will begin at Minar-e-Pakistan in Lahore and conclude in Islamabad over a period of 14 to 18 days. The program will be carefully planned, with thorough security and logistical measures in place to ensure a smooth experience for all involved.
Through this initiative, the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme aims to unite Pakistan’s youth under the banners of unity, development, and peace, showcasing their vital role in the nation’s progress.
