On the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr, Senate Chairman Syed Yousaf Raza Gilani extended warm greetings to Muslims across the country and emphasized the need for patience, unity, and collective responsibility in the prevailing circumstances.

While speaking to the media, he urged international institutions to take immediate and effective measures to prevent conflicts and promote peaceful resolution of disputes, stressing that timely action is essential to avoid further loss and instability.

Referring to the ongoing threats of terrorism in the country, he highlighted the importance of standing shoulder to shoulder with the armed forces and remembering the sacrifices of martyrs through prayers. He also underscored the need for harmony among Muslim nations and reminded the public to care for the underprivileged and deserving segments of society, especially during Eid.

Following the media interaction, Mr. Gilani visited the shrine of Hazrat Musa Pak Shaheed, where special prayers were offered by Sajjada Nashin Syed Abul Hassan Gilani.

Among those present on the occasion were Member National Assembly Syed Abdul Qadir Gilani, Syed Ali Musa Gilani, Syed Ali Qasim Gilani, Member Provincial Assembly Syed Ali Haider Gilani, former MPA Syed Ahmed Mujtaba, and other dignitaries.

Participants joined in collective prayers at the shrine, expressing deep spiritual devotion and reaffirming their commitment to unity and solidarity.
