Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan, Pakistan’s Envoy to the UAE, visited the Ramadan Iftar tent established by Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism at Port Rashid in Dubai. The tent provides daily Iftar meals to hundreds of people throughout the holy month of Ramadan as part of its initiative aimed at serving the wider community.
This marks the third consecutive year that Vista Maritime Travel and Tourism, a Pakistani business group in the UAE, has organized the Iftar tent, reflecting the company’s spirit of generosity and compassion that defines Ramadan.
During his visit, Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan distributed food boxes among attendees and warmly interacted with visitors present at the tent. He spent time with participants, joined in collective prayers (dua), and shared the Iftar meal with them.
The Ambassador appreciated Dr. Zafar Tahir Rizvi CEO, and the management of Vista Maritime Travel & Tourism for the initiative, describing it as an excellent example of how Pakistani businesses in the UAE are contributing positively to society and supporting community welfare.
He also expressed gratitude to the authorities of the Government of Dubai for their support in facilitating the establishment of the Iftar tent.
