DESTINY OF KASHMIR TO BE WRITTEN BY KASHMIRIS: ABDUL ALEEM KHAN

ENTIRE NATION STANDS WITH KASHMIRIS, PRESIDENT IPP

IPP PUNJAB ORGANIZED RALLY FOR SOLIDARITY WITH KASHMIRIS

On Kashmir Solidarity Day, Federal Minister for Communications and President of the Istehkam Pakistan Party (IPP) Abdul Aleem Khan stated that the destiny of the Kashmir region will be written by the Kashmiri brothers and sisters themselves. He added that today the Pakistan Army, national institutions and the entire nation stands with the Kashmiris like an iron wall. He further said that granting the Kashmiris their right to self-determination has now become the responsibility of the international community. Abdul Aleem Khan said that the strong expression of solidarity by the Pakistani nation with the Kashmiris on February 5 reflects the national vision articulated by Quaid-e-Azam Muhammad Ali Jinnah who declared Kashmir the jugular vein of Pakistan. He emphasized that resolving the Kashmir issue in accordance with United Nations resolutions is the only guarantee of peace in the region. He further said that the mischievous and greedy mindset of the Modi Government has pushed the region into instability and that India has carried out similar reprehensible actions not only against Pakistan but also against other neighbouring countries. He stated that the world is paying the price for Modi’s short-sighted policies and that February 5 is a day to raise our voices for the Kashmiris and to pray for them. Abdul Aleem Khan further said that by organizing rallies and demonstrations on Kashmir Solidarity Day, the Istehkam Pakistan Party has responded to the call of the Kashmiri brothers and In Sha Allah, the Party will continue to raise a strong voice for their freedom in the future as well.

Meanwhile, on Kashmir Day, the Istehkam Pakistan Party Punjab organized a “Kashmir Solidarity Rally” which was presided over by IPP Lahore President Malik Zaman Naseeb, Provincial Vice President Mian Junaid Zulfiqar and President IPP Punjab Women’s Wing Taskeen Khakwani and President Lahore Women Wing Dr. Javeria Suharwardi. The rally started from Masjid-e-Shuhada on Mall Road and concluded in front of the Punjab Assembly. Participants waved placards along with national and party flags and chanted slogans of “Kashmir Banega Pakistan,” expressing solidarity with the Kashmiris. A large number of Party workers participated in the rally, including General Secretary Women’s Wing Punjab Robina Sulehri, President Women’s Wing Lahore President Ravi Town Malik Ahmad Hassan, Senior Vice President Ravi Town Chaudhry Amjad Rafiq, President Youth Wing Lahore Ghazanfar Aamir, President Minority Wing Punjab Haroon Imran Gill, Shahbaz Gill, Muzammil Bukhari, Ustad Rasheed, Captain Zafar, Sheikh Usman, Yasir Dogar, and many others. The participants raised Kashmiri flags along with national and party flags and strongly condemned Indian occupation of Kashmir, chanting slogans in favor of Kashmir’s freedom. On this occasion, Malik Zaman Naseeb, Mian Junaid Zulfiqar, Taskeen Khakwani, Robina Sulehri, Dr. Javeria Suharwardi, and other leaders addressed the gathering, stating that they had assembled to express solidarity with the Kashmiris. They reiterated that Kashmir is the jugular vein of Pakistan and that no one can separate it from Pakistan. They said that, following the directives of President Istehkam Pakistan Party Abdul Aleem Khan, they were expressing solidarity with the Kashmiris, and that the day is not far when Kashmir will become part of Pakistan. The speakers further said that the entire world has witnessed how India is committing oppression and atrocities against the innocent Kashmiris. They stated that IPP was formed to bring stability to the country, and that just as Field Marshal Hafiz Syed Asim Munir defeated India last year, India will continue to face defeat on every front in the future as well. They added that their hands will always remain raised in prayer for Field Marshal Hafiz Asim Munir and President IPP Abdul Aleem Khan. The speakers demanded that the Kashmiris be granted their right to self-determination in accordance with United Nations resolutions. They said that the stance of IPP and its President Abdul Aleem Khan on Kashmir is very clear, and that the Istehkam Pakistan Party will raise its voice for Kashmiri rights at international forums. They congratulated IPP and its President for effectively representing the Kashmiris and reaffirmed that the Istehkam Pakistan Party stands firmly with national security institutions and the Pakistan Army. In addition, Malik Ahmad Hassan, Farooq Dogar, Chaudhry Amjad Rafiq, and other leaders also addressed the participants.
