Customs Enforcement Quetta Seizes Smuggled NCP Vehicles and Contraband Goods Worth Rs. 235 Million

Collectorate of Customs Enforcement Quetta has seized Non-Customs Paid (NCP) vehicles and contraband goods worth Rs. 235 million during multiple intelligence-based operations conducted within its jurisdiction.

The seizures include Toyota Mark X, Honda Accord, dumper trucks, bowzers, trailers and contraband items such as betel nuts, tyres, Chinese salt, solar batteries and silver. The tentative CIF value of the seized vehicles and goods has been assessed at Rs. 235 million.

The operations were carried out on the basis of credible intelligence, aimed at curbing smuggling and illegal trade and reflect Pakistan Customs’ continued commitment to protecting the national economy through effective border enforcement.

The timely support and coordination of law enforcement agencies in Balochistan played a crucial role in the successful execution of these operations.

The FBR reiterates its resolve to continue strict enforcement actions against smuggling and illicit trade while maintaining close coordination with relevant law agencies to safeguard legal businesses and national economic interests. *****
