Federal Minister for Science and Technology Khalid Hussain Magsi met with a high-level delegation from PepsiCo’s Regulatory Affairs Leadership Team, comprising Ms. Natalia Douek, Vice President and Global Head of Regulatory Affairs, Mr. Virnon Richter, Regional Director, and Mr. Shahzad Sikander, Head of Regulatory Affairs.
The meeting focused on exploring avenues for collaboration in innovation, science-led regulatory frameworks, and sustainable industrial growth. Both sides emphasized the importance of aligning global best practices with Pakistan’s national priorities in research, technological advancement, and responsible business conduct.
During the engagement, views were exchanged on strengthening regulatory systems that foster innovation while ensuring consumer safety, environmental sustainability, and public trust. The discussions highlighted the role of evidence-based policymaking in promoting a competitive and sustainable industrial ecosystem.
