Acting President Gilani Meets World Dialogue Forum CEO

Islamabad: January 15, 2026

Acting President Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani met President and Chief Executive Officer of the World Dialogue Forum Mr Ghazanfar Hashmi at Aiwan-e-Sadr today.

Mr Ghazanfar Hashmi briefed the Acting President on the aims and activities of the World Dialogue Forum and informed him that its fourth annual international conference will be held in Washington, DC, in April this year. He said the conference would focus on parliamentary cooperation, trade, economic linkages and broader bilateral relations between Pakistan and the United States, and extended an invitation to the Acting President to attend.

Mr Gilani appreciated the Forum’s role in promoting global dialogue, mutual understanding and international cooperation.
