Federal Minister for Interior Mohsin Naqvi has said that he pays tribute to the brave sons of Punjab Police who embraced martyrdom in the suicide attack that took place at GPO Chowk on January 10, 2008.
On the 18th anniversary of the GPO suicide attack, the Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi saluted all the martyrs and said that the officers and jawans of Lahore Police sacrificed their precious lives and attained the noble rank of martyrdom. He said that salute to those courageous guardians who were elevated to the highest honour of martyrdom and became immortal.
Interior Minister said that the police officers and personnel who embraced martyrdom are the heroes of the nation. These police martyrs laid down their lives in the line of duty and have been immortalized in history. The nation is indebted to the great families whose sons sacrificed their lives for peace.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that our martyrs live in our hearts and will always remain alive. Martyrs are the crown of our pride, and nations that honour their martyrs always emerge victorious.
