PR No. 25 AMBASSADOR OF ITALY CALLS ON MINISTER FOR DEFENCE Islamabad

Mr. Stefano Pontecorvo, ambassador of Italy along with Mr. Stefano Fiocchi, President, Italian Company Fiocchi Munizioni called on Khwaja Muhammad Asif, Federal Minister for Defense and water and Power here in his office.

Areas of mutual interest and cooperation in the field of defense and energy sector came under discussion in the meeting.

The Ambassador apprised about the friendly relations Pakistan and Italy are enjoying at various level.

Speaking on the occasion the Minister said that Pakistan looking for strengthening of relation with Italy. He said that there was a lot of potential in Pakistan in the field of energy , defense , trade and Scientific and technological development which need to be exploited .He said that for strengthening of relation mutual trade and business and people to people contact may be increased.
