Saudi Ambassador to Pakistan calls on the Prime Minister

Islamabad: December 31, 2025

H.E. Nawaf bin Saeed Ahmad Al-Malkiy, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to Pakistan, called on Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif earlier this evening, at the Prime Minister House.

During the warm and cordial meeting, the Prime Minister conveyed his respectful regards and good wishes for the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud as well as for His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

While expressing satisfaction at the excellent state of bilateral relations between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia, the Prime Minister reaffirmed his strong commitment and resolve to further deepen the long-standing fraternal bonds between both countries. In this regard, he thanked His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, for his patronage and support to Pakistan, that had brought the two countries closer than ever before.

The Prime Minister fondly recalled his meetings with His Royal Highness the Crown Prince, during the year, that had been highly productive and had contributed significantly in elevating Pak-Saudi bilateral ties to new levels. He also expressed deep appreciation for Saudi Arabia's consistent support to Pakistan in times of need and its constructive role in promoting regional peace and stability.

Recent regional and global developments, were also discussed during the meeting. The Prime Minister emphasized upon the need to maintain peace and stability through dialogue and diplomacy.

Ambassador Al-Malkiy conveyed the warm greetings from His Majesty King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and His Royal Highness Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the Prime Minister. He reiterated the Kingdom's desire to expand cooperation with Pakistan in all areas of mutual interest.
