"The nation has rejected anti-state narratives" Parliamentary Secretary Danyal Chaudhry

Rawalpindi: December 8, 2025

In a powerful address delivered to a large public rally organized to express solidarity with the armed forces, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, Federal Parliamentary Secretary for Information and Broadcasting, asserted that the nation stands firmly behind its armed forces and condemned any rhetoric that seeks to undermine state institutions.

“Suggesting dialogue with terrorists is not a policy option, it is a betrayal of every soldier who has laid down their life for this nation”. Our armed forces are engaged in a definitive battle for Pakistan’s future, and we will not entertain narratives that seek to weaken their resolve.”

The Parliamentary Secretary dismissed political criticism of the military as a “dangerous folly” that plays into the hands of the country’s adversaries. He hailed recent operational successes under the leadership of Chief of Defence Forces General Asim Munir.

Reflecting on the events of May 9, Barrister Danyal described the attacks on military installations as a “coordinated assault on national sovereignty,” orchestrated to serve external interests. “That day revealed the true face of those who place political ambition above patriotism. The nation has rejected that mindset".

His remarks included a direct condemnation of political elements that allegedly align with foreign narratives. “When a political party’s actions consistently garner praise from hostile Indian media, it ceases to be a mere opposition and becomes a conduit for anti-state agendas".
