Barrister Danyal Chaudhry, Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Information & Broadcasting, addressed the current political situation during his speech as the Chief Guest at the Westminster's Food Festival today. He stated that the PTI and the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa are solely focused on an illegal demand to seek political guidance from a convicted individual imprisoned in Adiala Jail, which is a clear violation of prison laws.
Barrister Danyal Chaudhry stated that all information circulating on social media regarding the health of former Prime Minister Imran Khan is completely false and fabricated. He emphatically declared, "This propaganda is being spread in a planned manner from abroad, while according to the Jail Superintendent, Imran Khan is perfectly fine and secure."
He clarified that forcing demands through power or pressure is not legitimate in any democratic society. "The path of law is the only way. Agitation and mob mobilization on the streets will lead the country towards chaos and instability, for which there is no room."
The Parliamentary Secretary further clarified that jail meetings are only possible under judicial orders, and any attempt to turn Adiala Jail into a political party's headquarters is not only illegal but also a threat to national security.
On this occasion, Barrister Danyal Chaudhry also highlighted the significance of the Westminster's Food Festival, describing it as a beautiful reflection of social harmony and cultural traditions.
