Sahiwal: November 16, 2025

Federal Minister for Poverty Alleviation and Social Safety, Syed Imran Ahmed Shah, laid the foundation stone for the construction of the Kacha Noor Shah Road today. The 2.88-kilometre project has been allocated a substantial amount of Rs. 490.4 million, and the dual-carriageway road is expected to be completed by June 2026.

Speaking at the inauguration ceremony, the Federal Minister said that the Pakistan Muslim League (N) government places the highest priority on public welfare and improving essential services for citizens. He noted that during the tenure of former Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Nawaz Sharif, a wide network of motorways and roads was developed across the country to ensure safe, comfortable, and efficient travel for the public.

Federal Minister Syed Imran Ahmed Shah added that under the leadership of Prime Minister Mian Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif, the mission of public service is continuing with full dedication. The construction of Kacha Noor Shah Road, he said, is another step toward providing better access, reducing daily travel difficulties, and improving the overall quality of life for residents.

Local residents welcomed the project and expressed their appreciation for the government’s efforts to improve infrastructure in the region. They termed the new road a much-needed development that will bring lasting convenience and benefit to the community.
