Federal Minister for Climate Change and Environmental Coordination, Senator Dr. Musadik Malik, held a meeting today with a delegation from the Climate Vulnerable Forum (CVF-20) to discuss Pakistan’s upcoming Climate Prosperity Plan, which is set to be presented at COP30.
The delegation briefed the minister on the core objectives of the plan, which envisions Pakistan’s transition toward a climate-resilient, low-carbon, and inclusive economy. The meeting also covered Pakistan’s ongoing green initiatives and climate resilience projects under implementation. Both sides explored opportunities for collaboration in advancing green investments and accelerating project delivery through knowledge sharing, innovation, and technical support.
Dr. Musadik Malik and the CVF delegation discussed ways to strengthen coordination and cooperation during the upcoming COP30 negotiations, ensuring that Pakistan’s climate priorities and those of other vulnerable nations are effectively represented on the global stage.
