An incident occurred outside Custom House Karachi on 31st October 2025 following a minor road accident between a Customs vehicle and a motorcycle. During the dispute, some local residents physically assaulted Customs staff, upon which Customs personnel also reacted, resulting in a scuffle that was promptly contained.
Two officials, Driver Zahoor and Sepoy Yaseen have been placed under suspension pending a formal inquiry under departmental procedures. While the incident was personal in nature and unrelated to any official duty, the conduct of the concerned staff has been deemed unprofessional and is being addressed accordingly.
