Extending its continued efforts to improve healthcare services for thalassemia patients in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Pakistan Bait-ul-Mal (PBM) has donated a “Vitros Screening Machine,” marking another significant stride in its humanitarian mission. The modern diagnostic Machine was officially presented to Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s leading welfare institution, Frontier Foundation Welfare Hospital and Blood Transfusion, during an event organized at PBM headquarters. Under the agreement, the foundation will be responsible for ensuring accessible, cost-free diagnostic services to patients in need throughout the province. PBM’s Managing Director, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, and Frontier Foundation’s Chairman, Sahibzada Muhammad Haleem, inked an MoU to confirm the donation of the Vitros Screening Machine.
Speaking at the event, Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt, Managing Director of PBM, praised the Frontier Foundation’s social welfare efforts, expressing hope that the newly donated screening machine would greatly benefit the deserving individuals across KPK province. He also shed light on the federal government’s ongoing efforts to bring relief and opportunity to underprivileged families in remote and neglected areas, with the aim of enhancing their quality of life.
Senator Captain Shaheen Khalid Butt mentioned that PBM is also partnering with various NGOs/civil societies across the country to help address critical health issues, including cataract surgeries, dialysis, thalassemia, and hemophilia.
