The Pakistan Business Council Dubai (PBC) organized an exclusive interactive meeting with Mr. Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan, Coordinator to the Prime Minister of Pakistan, at the Metropolitan Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai.
The event brought together leading Pakistani businessmen, entrepreneurs, and professionals from various sectors — along with board members of the Pakistan Business Council Sharjah — for a meaningful exchange of ideas on trade, investment, and economic collaboration between Pakistan and the UAE.
Chairman Mr. Muhammad Shabbir Merchant expressed his gratitude to the Minister for his valuable time and interaction with the business community.

Also in attendance was Mr. Ali Zeb Khan, Trade and Investment Counsellor at the Consulate General of Pakistan, Dubai, UAE, who shared valuable insights on promoting bilateral trade and investment facilitation for overseas Pakistanis.

In his address, Mr. Rana Ihsaan Afzal Khan emphasized the Government of Pakistan’s commitment to strengthening ties with overseas Pakistanis and acknowledged their invaluable contribution to the nation’s economic growth. He encouraged the business community to explore new opportunities in Pakistan’s evolving industrial, technological, and investment landscape.
The session concluded with an engaging question-and-answer segment, where members of the Pakistan Business Council Dubai shared their insights, raised policy-related queries, and discussed challenges and prospects for enhancing Pakistan–UAE economic cooperation.
