The Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, has inaugurated the Second ICC–IC International Photography Exhibition & Competition 2025 at Hall 11, Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA), Islamabad.
The exhibition has been organized by the Islamabad Camera Club (ICC) in collaboration with the Islamabad Club (IC), with the support of the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).
This year’s exhibition features entries from 64 photographers, including a notable number of international participants. A total of 97 outstanding photographs have been selected and displayed, representing a rich diversity of themes and artistic expression. The event celebrates photography as a universal language that connects people across cultures and highlights the shared human experience.
Speaking on the occasion, Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture, Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi, said that he was delighted to see the participation of senior artists at the Pakistan National Council of the Arts (PNCA).
He said that photography is an art that captures the priceless moments of life and preserves them forever. The Minister added that PNCA and other institutions under the Ministry are always available to support such cultural and artistic initiatives.
Mr. Khichi also expressed his gratitude to the foreign participants for joining the event and announced that in the coming years, this photography exhibition will be organized on an even larger scale.
Mr. Aurangzeb Khan Khichi commended the organizers and participants for promoting art and creativity, emphasizing that such cultural collaborations play a vital role in portraying Pakistan’s positive and progressive image globally.
A distinguished panel of judges including Mr. Shaikh Faisal Azeem, Mr. Khawar Saleem, and Mr. Nayyer Raza evaluated the entries and finalized results for medals, cash prizes, and Certificates of Merit. Result cards have also been sent to all participants.
The winners were given medals, certificates, and cash prizes by the Federal Minister for National Heritage and Culture Division Aurangzeb Khan Khichi.
The PNCA provided the exhibition hall and extended curatorial and technical support in mounting and displaying the artworks, ensuring a professional and high-quality presentation.
The exhibition will remain open to the public till Sunday, 26th October, offering visitors a chance to experience the creativity, imagination, and photographic excellence of talented artists from Pakistan and around the world.
